I don’t know about you, but it can be so frustrating to see your students struggling to read! I have several students who can sound it out sound by sound all day long, but who wants to read a book a letter at a t i m e it would literally be exhausting! And you know they are not comprehending what they are reading! I wanted a way to help students get used to chunking sounds instead of sounding each letter out as they read.

These booklets are great for warming up on a skill. I use them right before I start my RTI Routine.

I put the spelling patterns in order, so students can get used to seeing them and memorizing the sound they make.
